What's On in the Hall

The village hall is a wonderful community asset overseen by a dedicated volunteer Management Committee. The current Chair of the Committee is David Burton. Anyone is welcome to join one of the monthly committee meetings.

Additionally, the hall organises a monthly prize draw called the 300 Club. Tickets are £1 per month for 12 months starting from January or pro-rated for shorter periods. Half of the proceeds are awarded as prizes, while the remaining funds contribute to the hall's upkeep, maintenance, and enhancements.

Regular Activities and Clubs in the Hall

Coffee and Chat

Held on the first Wednesday of the month at 11.30am. Free admission and all are welcome. Look out for additional Saturday dates on the village Facebook page.

The Coffee Bike

Every Sunday morning, Jen pitches up in the hall car park and serves delicious barista coffee, along with tea, hot choc and brownies. It's a great social gathering (for children and dogs too). Please bring cash!

Village Fitness

Marnie holds Pilates classes in the village hall - Monday at 6.30pm plus Tuesday and Thursday 10am. All levels very welcome to these friendly sessions.

Be Grateful Yoga

Becci holds yoga sessions at the hall every Friday morning from 9:15 to 10:15. Each week has a unique focus, guaranteeing that you will leave feeling completely relaxed. All levels welcome, no experience needed.

Mike holds two classes a week in the hall - Mon and Weds 7-7.45am.

Social and mildly competitive (!); a group meets at the hall on Wednesday evenings to play from 6pm - 7pm. All welcome.

Church Youth Group

St Mary's Church has an active role in the community, with regular services and a choir. The youth group (Year 6 & over) meets in the hall once a month on Wednesday evenings.

We have an active group who play several times a week in the hall.

Cricket Club

We have a thriving club with junior and senior teams. New players are welcome as well as spectators. The bar is open on match days and Friday evenings in the summer.

Garden Festival

Every year, the village opens its gardens and welcomes in visitors from near and far for a fantastic day out. Food, drinks and entertainment!
